The Sylvan Lake Watershed Stewardship Society (SLWSS) requires a strong membership. We ask that you consider joining. The cost is only $20 per year per person or household for an active membership. It is a small price to pay to help protect the lake. If you have a residence or business on or near the lake your membership could also help protect your investment.

A large membership base provides the following advantages:

• A stronger, united, community voice that can respond to watershed issues and make representations to public hearings as an advocate for the sustainability of the lake and its watershed.
• Increased financial capacity with which to fund the Society’s activities such as water quality monitoring and education outreach initiatives.
• More ideas, energy and resources.
• A larger pool of experience and talent from which to attract Directors and committee members.

Annual membership is from April 1 to March 31. 

If each of our current members were to solicit just one more member from among their circle of family, friends and neighbours, we would easily meet our goal of 500 members.
